SUPER POWERS: Avacodos are high in mono-unsaturated fats that are readily burned for fuel during exercise and actually encourage fat burning. Avocados also contain a unique fat burning carbohydrate called mannoheptulose, a sugar that blunts insulin release and enhances calcium absorption.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR YOUR AVOCADO SMOOTHIE:
- 1/2 avocado
- ½ banana
- 2 tbs non-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop Vitalstrength Ripped vanilla protein
- 250-300ml skim milk (use soy, rice or almond if you prefer)
- 2 teaspoons honey, or agave nectar
- 3 ice cubes
